Lurch & Lurgie

Feeling mildly under the weather. Dreaded lurgie!

Did my best to avoid the sick people at work but their cooties somehow wafted into my aareaa!

I don't get man-flu... in fact, I don't often get flu!

Working in the bush, you're required to be available for safari's whether you're half dying or not! One year, I was so sick that only after passing out in the Rangers Room did my fellow guides realise something might be more seriously wrong with me...

...turns out I had malaria, and was flown to hospital in Jozi.

Yes, us Rangers are made off tough stuff!

But without my ego getting carried away, sometimes you just have to say fuck it!  Take a Benalyn Day and get better!

Men are strange beings when sick!

Either they're complete and utter pussies, mumbling inaudible phrases with 'sorry-for-myself' hand gestures, or they're pride stricken martyrs who believe they have the antibodies to conquer global warming!

At present, I'm in between...

... like a lurch!
